The MLB Fan Cave in the Village at Broadway and E 4th Steet is hosting a free Concert Series all summer long and Kate Voegele, singer-songwriter and “One Tree Hill” star, is playing today (June 9th) at 6pm. This concert is ENTIRELY FREE. Heartland singer-songwriter and ‘One Tree Hill’ star Kate Voegele will bring her acclaimed blend of “whiskey-sipping country” and “grrrl-power pop” to the MLB Fan Cave on Thursday, June 9th at 6:00 PM. The public is invited to come down to 4th and Broadway to watch Kate perform live. However, please note that space is limited. The 24-year-old Voegele will highlight songs from her new album, ‘Gravity Happens’ (ATO), a work that combines a youthful, modern attitude with raw and uncompromising songwriting. Voegele has shared the stage with the likes of Neil Young, Grace Potter and Patty Griffin. The NYC show is part of two-time Grammy nominee Natasha Bedingfield’s “Less is More” summer tour, presented by Freschetta.
Kate Voegele plays “Mia,” the suspiciously Voegele-like singer-songwriter on One Tree Hill, but is an amazing singer in her own right. The day after that, June 10th, Voegele will be playing for full price with singer-songwriter Natasha Beddingfield, so this is the chance to listen in for free!
The MLB Fan Cave, designed by Paul Dimeo from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, launched on Major League Baseball Opening Day and is located on Broadway and E 4th St in the West Village.
